All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200 and 300 Levels in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby invited to apply online for the 2017/2018

Pre-Admission Screening Exercise

Admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB is very competitive and involves the following processes:

  • Online Admission Application on the website.
  • Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (Computer- based) for UTME and DE candidates ; Applications must be from suitably qualified candidates who have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as the Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtainable for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) _ Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/ GCE/NECO/NABTEB and fill in the same results online.Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective programmes before logging in to fill the e-application form. Only candidates with completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered. Ensure you provide accurate bio-data and academic information when filling your application form.

  • Application For Admission :

    The Pre-Admission Screening Exercise is Computer-based and holds on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017 and Thursday, 28th September, 2017. UTME and DE candidates are to visit FUNAAB Admission Portal from Saturday, 23th September, 2017 to check and print the schedule (venue, date and time) for their computers based Test .Application is in various stages

  • Stage A (Expression of Interest): by inputting your 10-digits JAMB Registration Number, a form is displayed to obtain basic information about you which will be used to generate your Pre-Admission Screening Application Invoice of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500) only including REMITA fees. Print the Invoice and proceed to any Bank accepting REMITA payment (nationwide) for payment or pay Online using a Debit Card or Internet Banking .

  • Stage B (Application): at this stage your bio-data, photographs, academic records and other relevant information are collected over several pages.
  • Ensure you save each page as you proceed. You can logout at any stage of the process and pick up from where you stopped later.
    On the last page (Acknowledgement Page) you will be required to confirm the accuracy of the information supplied. Ensure you carefully review your entry before submission. Note that after submission, you CANNOT readily make any alteration. On submission, print your generated Application Form.
  • You would be required to work on all 5 subjects and general knowledge inclusive.
  • The five subjects include thus: Mathematics, English language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Exam structure:All questions come in random from all 6 subjects and you would be required to answer 60 questions in 35 mins, a particular subject may be more than the other depending on what your system gives you.
  • Exam date & time: All candidates would take the examination in a day(UTME) and would be required to take the exams in either Multipurpose Hall 1 or Muhammadu Yakub Hall, different sections would be available as you would be warned to be at the exam hall at your scheduled time. You are however, adviced to be early at your exam hall.
  • Material to take: A copy of your result slip print(Original with passport).A photocard print out and a few things which would be communicated later.
  • Admission into FUNAAB also involves the following processes:
  • Online Admission Application which opens on Wednesday, 6th September and closes on Thursday, 21st September, 2017 (12 noon).
  • Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (Computer-based) for UTME and DE candidates holds on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017 and Thursday, 28th September, 2017.and also accommodation is for free to all Pre- degree student or Jambite student.
  • UTME and DE candidates are to visit the admission portal from Saturday, 23th September, 2017 to check and print the schedule (venue, date and time) for their Computer-Based Test.
  • DE candidates are further expected to have submitted their transcript not later than Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.
  • Cut-off Marks For Courses;
  1. 180 : Agricultural Economics and Farm Management | Agricultural Extension and Rural Development | Animal Nutrition | Animal Physiology | Animal Production and Health | Aquaculture and Fisheries Management | Animal Breeding and Genetics | Agricultural Administration | Crop Protection | Environmental Management and Toxicology | Forestry and Wildlife Management | Horticulture | Pasture and Range Management | Plant Breeding and Seed Technology | Plant Physiology and Crop Production | Soil Science and Land Management | Water Resources Management and Agro-meteorology.
  2. For Other courses candidate must not score less than 200.
  3. Candidates who chose Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or Microbiology but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for Agricultural programmes if they are interested.
